Double denim, or the “Canadian tuxedo,” has officially made a comeback and it is a fantastic high school go-to. It feels very intentional and fashion-forward, yet it’s incredibly durable and practical for the day-to-day grind of school life.
How to Make
Pair a denim jacket—either oversized or cropped—with jeans of a similar wash. If you want to break up the blue, add a pop of color with a bright baby tee underneath. The contrast between the denim and the bright tee adds a playful element. For shoes, platform boots or classic skate shoes work really well. Keep the accessories simple—maybe a leather belt and a crossbody bag—to let the denim speak for itself. It’s a bold, confident look that never fails.
