6. Skeleton Porch Sitters

Seat skeletons on rocking chairs, hand one a pumpkin or a broom, and you have a scene that makes every trick-or-treater grin. Secure the limbs with fishing line so poses survive windy October nights.
What You’ll Need
- 1-2 poseable life-size skeletons
- Rocking chairs, hay bales, or crates
- Clear fishing line and hooks
How to Make
- Seat each skeleton on a chair or hay bale and pose the limbs.
- Tie key joints to the chair with fishing line so poses hold.
- Place a pumpkin on one’s lap or a broom in the other’s hand.
- Check sightlines from the street so faces are visible to passersby.
