3. Monogram Pressed Flower Collage
A monogram collage makes a highly personalized statement piece or a thoughtful handmade gift. This project uses a bold typographic silhouette filled with a vibrant tapestry of pressed petals and leaves.
Print out a large, bold outline of your chosen letter on sturdy cardstock. Carefully cut out the letter to create a stencil. Place the stencil over your background paper and trace the outline lightly with a pencil. Fill the interior of the letter with a dense mosaic of colorful pressed flowers, overlapping them slightly to ensure no white space shows through. Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, glue each piece down. Erase any visible pencil lines and frame the finished monogram.
