To make these, select high-quality, dark-roasted coffee beans for their rich color and texture. Pour a thin layer of clear resin into the mold and let it become tacky. Arrange the coffee beans in a tight, mosaic pattern or scatter them organically. Once the first layer has cured enough to hold the beans firmly in place, pour a second clear layer of resin over the top to seal them completely. Make sure the top layer is thick enough to cover any protruding edges of the beans, creating a perfectly flat, glass-like surface for cups to rest on.
